The Impact of Retina on the Cochlea

This series of photographic works are related to sleep experience, awareness experience and human subconscious response. In these pictures, the home, massage room, disco and other spaces are imagined and transformed, and the air is filled with numb body sensation. Photography is two-dimensional, but the interior space is infinite. Mo Jiaqing is exploring the way of visual presentation to capture or create a multi-dimensional neural response. For the viewer, after the retina imaging and visual information are accepted, their own experience and the somatosensory evoked by them seem to be transferred to the inner part of the cochlea, and there is no rule to follow, which is random.
